Summer Serve '26

Many have mentionedhow much they were blessed by their participation in "Three Hours that Make A Difference," a once a year, 3-hour service project that offered hands on opportunities for service across our community (pre-pandemic).

This summer we thought - what if we make available a variety of service opportunities. For all ages, experience levels and interests. So - here we are...Summer Serve 2026

Each week we will update the Summer Serve board with fresh opportunities to serve - so be sure to check it out! When you find a project that you'd like to be involved in simply take the paper, fill out your information on the bottom of the sheet (leave it under the door in the church office).  And then contact the person listed to arrange for your time of service. 

Once you've completed the service project, we'd love to hear about it - fill out the information on the back and either take a picture and email to: admin@nlfirstumchurch.org or drop it back by the church office.

Shifting Gears Bike Ministry
NL Community Pantry
Parking lot island clean up
Memorial Garden (flowers)
Community Garden (veggies)
Let Love Fly (set up, hospitality and/or tear down)
VBS knitting/crochet
Summer Pre-school Chapel partner
