A Note from Our Finance Team - June 2026 Update
Dear North Liberty Family,
Your faithful generosity continues to make ministry possible, and the Finance Team wants to begin by saying thank you. Every gift, whether large or small, is a tangible expression of love for our church community and the work God is doing here.
As we look at our finances at the midpoint of 2026, we want to share the full picture with you. We believe transparency is a spiritual practice, and we are all in this together.
Where We Stand (January - June 2026)
| Income | Amount |
|---|---|
| General Fund contributions | $150,200 |
| Building use (Creation Kids, Congolese community) | $57,000 |
| Total income for expenses |
$207,200 |
| Expenses | Amount |
|---|---|
| Actual expenses to date | $241,445 |
Difference - $34,245
At this point in the year, our giving has not yet covered our expenses. We are currently experiencing a shortfall of approximately $34,245.
Why the gap?
Like most households and churches, we have faced several unexpected expenses in recent months. These include sanctuary lighting repairs, a replacement control board, mower repairs, a new PC workstation, and annual monitoring system updates. These are costs we cannot always plan for in advance, but they are essential to keeping our building safe and functional for all who use it.
How you can help
We invite you to prayerfully consider whether you might be able to increase your support of the General Fund in the coming months. If you are already giving, please know your gifts are deeply appreciated and are at work in this community every single day. If you have been waiting for the right moment to start or to increase your giving, this is a meaningful time to do so.
For more detailed information, a full financial report is available in the church administration office. You are also welcome to reach out to Karen or Darlene with any questions.
With gratitude and hope,
