Shifting Gears

The Bike Ministry is a North Liberty community volunteer bicycle program that repairs donated bikes. The bicycles are then given out to support children and adults that have limited options for transportation in our community for social networking or providing transportation to and from work.

We give out over 100 biles a year, mostly to the NL Community Pantry and the Inside Out Re-entry program.  Also Shifting Gears, since 2009 has refurbished 980 bikes and has diverted 28,000+ pounds of bikes from the landfill.

Hours: Wednesdays 5-7pm through August
