Your Staff Parish Relations Committee is writing to share that Bob Housel is retiring as our NL First UMC Custodian at the end of this month to give more of his time to the Shifting Gears bike ministry. Bob has served in this role since 2018. We give thanks for his dedication and eye for detail. It will be difficult to fill his shoes!
At the same time, we celebrate the expansion of Shifting Gears to Ministry Outreach Center 2. There will be opportunities for people in the community to come by and learn bike repair; both on their own bikes and on the bikes that are donated to NL First to be given to those in need in our community. Saturday hours will begin February 14th from 9a-11a.
