The spirit of hospitality does not come from concern for a congregation’s image nor does it guarantee that our church will be popular or successful in the conventional sense. Hospitality grows from a desire to share our faith and invite those outside the church’s walls to come and see.
Our church does this in a number of ways, including greeting people as they enter the sanctuary, providing a cup of coffee or tea between services, stepping forward to serve holy communion and helping visitors locate a small group, class or a place for prayer and reflection.
