The Longest Night

We come together for a myriad of reasons, for some we come in grief, for others in pain, and yet others perhaps out of curiosity.

In all ways we pray that God will grant us grace, that in pain we may find comfort, in sorrow hope, and in community, together, we may find peace.

A Longest Night, or Blue Christmas Servcie, acknowledges that, for many people, Christmas is a time of loneliness, sorrow, alienation, sadness. This service offers a way for people to claim those feelings and still feel surrounded by the compassionate love of God.
