Thank you, thank you, thank you! VBS was such a success thanks to all of our volunteers and those who supported our needs.

If you purchased items for us for VBS, thank you. If you brought kiddos to VBS, thank you. If you volunteered at VBS, thank you! We truly could not pull off such an amazing week for the kiddos without each and every person who support us.

Thank you to the VBS planning team of Tina Winch, Angie Stokes, Teresa Ellickson, and Katie Mohr for working all year to make VBS the best week of summer!

Here is a brief recap of “On the Case” VBS:
Day 1: The parable of the Sower – Spending time with God is how we Grow! The kids learned that spending time with God in prayer, worship, reading the Bible, singing, dancing, and so much more is how we can grow our relationship with God.
Day 2: The parable of the Bags of Gold – Using our Gifts is how we Serve! The kids learned that we all have unique gifts from God and that we can use those gifts to help others. We talked about using our kindness and generosity to help others.
Day 3: The parable of the Good Samaritan – Spending time with others is how we Care! The kids learned that we are called to help everyone we meet no matter if we have the time or not. We talked about treating people with respect and not worrying about getting to the next thing all the time.
Day 4: The parables of the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, and the Lost Son – Sharing our story is how we Love! The kids learned that when we tell others about the good things in our lives we show them that we love them. We talked about how when God does something good for us we can tell others about what happened and invite them to know and love God too!

Missing Sunday School already? We know we are… Don’t worry, Sunday School returns in just 10 short weeks!
